Walking In Grace / MESSED UP

MESSED UP

I'm reminded of a time when a middle-aged man with an eight-year-old mind sat in a holding cell in Mississippi. He huddled in a corner, terrified of more sophisticated and hardened cell mates. Yet, as this middle-aged man sat crying, another man in the holding cell approached him and said, "I don't know what you're facing, but if you'll trust in Jesus, He can help you through it." Then, despite the mess that man with the eight-year-old mind had made of his life, he trusted in Jesus, and has walked with Him ever since.

The reason I know this story is true is because the middle-aged man with the eight-year-old mind is my brother. I clearly remember the first letter from prison my brother wrote to me and my siblings. He shared, "This is what I now believe. . .For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

This is just the beginning of a remarkable story of God's grace toward my brother and our family. Watch the video for the full story.
